Planétarium mobile

The mobile planetarium is a traveling science outreach tool designed to raise public awareness of astronomy.

The inflatable dome set up in the Egloff Room on the first floor of the Palais de la Régence in Ensisheim will allow visitors to view the starry sky just as they would in a real planetarium!



The sessions will be led by Baptiste KIEMES, a science educator at the Nef des Sciences in Mulhouse, and will cover constellations, how the sun works, identifying planets, and a Q&A session, among other topics...



Schedule:

* Monday, October 5, afternoon: 1 school group (= 2 planetarium sessions)

* Tuesday, October 6 (all day): 1 school group in the morning (= 2 planetarium sessions) and 1 school group in the afternoon (= 2 planetarium sessions)

* Wednesday, October 7 (all day): Sessions open to the general public by prior registration at the Musée de la Régence (03 89 26 49 54): at 9:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:15 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. (max. 15 people, ages 7 and up)

* Thursday, October 8 (all day): 1 school group in the morning (= 2 gliding sessions) and 1 school group in the afternoon (= 2 gliding sessions)

* Friday, October 9, morning: 1 school group session (= 2 gliding sessions)





This event is part of the cultural program of the City of Ensisheim, in partnership with the Jardin des Sciences at the University of Strasbourg and the Nef des Sciences in Mulhouse, and is specifically organized for the Fête de la Science, which will take place in October.
