Opening times
The Fête de la Science is a popular, free event that celebrates science, technology, and innovation throughout the country.
It is open to everyone and helps promote the sharing of knowledge between scientists and the public.
Launched by Hubert Curien in 1991 and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Space, the Fête de la Science features thousands of original and interactive events, both in France and internationally.
It takes place every October in metropolitan France, the overseas territories, and abroad.
During this event, thousands of scientists, teachers, cultural educators, and librarians share their enthusiasm and curiosity for science, technology, and innovation with the public through a wide variety of activities.
In Ensisheim:
* Monday, October 5, through Friday, October 9 = photo exhibition by Franck KACHLER featuring the starry sky over the Haut-Rhin
* Wednesday, October 7, at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. = mobile planetarium sessions—Registration is required at 03 89 26 49 54
* Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. = Small science experiments and big discoveries—Workshops for 8- to 10-year-olds—Registration is required at 03 89 26 49 54
* Wednesday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. = small science experiments and big discoveries—workshops for ages 8–10—Registration is required at 03 89 26 49 54
