Rothenbach Farm

A family farm for four generations, this farm raises Vosges cows and perpetuates the know-how of cheese processing. Discover how cheese is made, and treat yourself to the best of local produce: farmhouse cheeses, home-made charcuterie and local products, available in the on-site store.

A free tour of the stables is available every day when the store is open.

For an even more complete experience, opt for the guided tour, which takes you from the stables through the cheese dairy to the maturing cellar. Discover all the stages of production before finishing with a tasting session.
Guided tours are reserved for groups of 10 or more, and must be booked at least one week in advance. Price: €7.50 per adult, including tasting, free for children.
From May 10 to September 19, 2026, when the herd is in summer pasture, guided tours take place at Schmargult Farm, on the Route des Crêtes.
