South Indian cuisine isdistinguished by its ancient origins and its focus on delighting the palate as much as promoting physical well-being (vegetarian). The subtly balanced spices and the mildness of coconut take you on a journey from the very first bite.
South Indian cuisine at the 
During this workshop, you’ll prepare a complete menu suitable for beginners in the kitchen. A coconut vegetable dish (“Avial”) will be paired with a traditionally cooked lentil dal (Dal Fry).&You’ll also make India’s “daily bread,” chapati, and a chutney (a side “sauce”)—an essential accompaniment to Indian dishes. You’ll also learn how to cook rice properly, a staple food in South India.
