Hausgereut

Hausgereut and the village of Rheinbischofsheim probably passed in 1274, under Louis II, under the rule of the Counts of Lichtenberg. Hausgereut was also pawned from 1390 to 1393 by Henri the Younger to Dietmar Blumenau. During the Episcopal War of 1429, the village had to share the fate of Rheinbischofsheim and was also put into ruins. Only the church, built in 1288 and which survived all wars, remained on the sidelines. It is one of the jewels of the local and cultural history of the country of Hanau, whose visit can be recommended to all.
