Located in the heart of the "polder of Erstein" and crossed by numerous watercourses (or "pours"), the nature reserve protects a deciduous forest that has been allowed to develop freely since 1989. It is home to numerous tree species, including some of remarkable size, imposing lianas and an unrivalled density of forest birds!
