Description

You will climb the Grand Ballon from Soultz, taking a pleasant, shady and little used route with good quality surfacing to the Amic Pass
This climb does not have any steep slopes, but it does comprise a constant gradient of between 5 and 6% over the 10 km of the climb.

The difficulty increases when you join up with the Route des Crêtes (more well-travelled) to the Grand Ballon, with an average gradient of 8% over the last 5/6 km to the summit at 1,325 metres of altitude
