This village, devoted largely to farming, which established a significant economic sector in the 1970s, is the gateway to the Community of Towns and Villages of the Region of Molsheim-Mutzig. Saint Arbogast’s church (1765-1846) is built around an old porch bell tower, the base of which probably dates back to the Romanesque period. Where the current fire station now stands was once a former synagogue (1876), which can be recognised by its stilted arch windows. At the entrance to the village is the stele in remembrance of Jean Bugatti, who was killed at this
spot in 1939, during a test drive in his racing car.
