Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk

The statue is located at the eastern edge of the village, toward Rustenhart.

It stands next to the lovely walking/biking path that runs along the Ill River.

John of Nepomuk is one of the most revered saints, given the many forms of protection he offered: he is the patron saint of boatmen, bridges, priests, and all men who had some connection to water.
