Nicolas Jules was born in Poitiers, where he does not live. He loves, writes, sings, plays the guitar, and performs on stage, driven by a persistent desire to escape the working world. He owns neither a house nor a car.



He has recorded several full-length albums, but they take up space, so he’d really like you to order a few. Since time flies and he isn’t at all interested in posterity, he hopes to meet you soon—both of you, very much alive.

Nicolas Jules has performed over 3,000 concerts, spent 30 years on the road, released 12 albums… and a few extras.


Nicolas Jules’s guitar has been electric for 15 years, and his tunes are getting wilder by the day. His style is confident, and his lyrics are perfectly balanced. An offbeat adventurer on today’s music scene—a dandy and a gentle madman—he doesn’t spin tales: he sings of intense emotions.
