The Sainte-Catherine Fair in Ensisheim is a tradition dating back to 1466 (its name refers to Catherine of Burgundy, wife of Leopold IV of Habsburg, who obtained privileges for the town).
It is an annual market attended by around a hundred artisans, traders and street vendors who take over the entire "1ère Armée" street (Ensisheim's main street).
On the same date, the Artists' Club holds its annual exhibition, which is open to the public, at the Palais de la Régence.
