Regency Museum

The archaeological section takes visitors on a journey back in time, with artifacts from the early Neolithic period testifying to a human presence dating back several millennia. Local excavations have yielded some surprising treasures, including a double-braided skull...

The historical museum plunges you into the world of the Habsburgs and the important link between the city and this dynasty, with the oldest meteorite recorded in the world, which fell in 1492.

Finally, the Miner's Museum tells the story of the potash mines and the harsh working conditions of the miners.



Each section features multimedia tools to help you learn more about the town's history, and a free game/discovery booklet is also available for younger visitors!
