Behind the scenes of the restoration of the Ottrott castles

Step inside the castles of Ottrott and discover the significant work being carried out to preserve these two medieval monuments, which have been listed as Historic Monuments since 1985.



During this tour, volunteers from the AmChOtt association will show you the various projects undertaken to safeguard the castles of Rathsamhausen and Lutzelbourg. From restoration methods and the preservation of the ruins to the work already completed and future plans: you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges involved in conserving this remarkable heritage.



A unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of the work carried out over the past several years, with nearly €600,000 invested to date and a new project costing nearly €200,000 due to begin.
