Knoersheim

Less than 10km from Wasselonne and from Marmoutier is Knoersheim with its niched cross dating from 1671, its benches for resting on and its XVIIIth century chapel. At the last census this charming little village had a population of 174 souls. The church dedicated to Saint-Michel is one of Knoersheim’s major edifices and was built on the site of a former sanctuary.
