Teufelstein

A legend from the 16th century tells us, that the scratches on this roc belong to the devil. The devil wanted to throw the roc on the chapel from the Schauenberg during its extension. But the roc became soft and couldn’t have been lifted up anymore. The devil’s finger marks remained engraved in the roc. That’s why this roc is called “the devils’s roc”.
