Commissioned in 1959, the Vogelgrun hydroelectric power station is the 4th and last to be built on the Grand Canal d'Alsace. Situated in the centre of the Alsace plain, Vogelgrun is a major hub for electricity and road links with Germany. Its 4 turbine groups deliver 140 MW of power.
