La Maison du Kochersberg

The Association of Friends of the Maison du Kochersberg, founded in 1980 to promote the rich heritage of the Kochersberg region, envisioned a vibrant museum where visitors could understand the present through the lens of the past. It has not failed in its mission, thanks to its exhibitions, which rely on the support of numerous lenders.

Today, you will discover a true museum, housed in a modern, renovated setting. It is part of the cultural hub of the town of Truchtersheim. A late 19th-century interior has been reconstructed, as well as a shoemaker’s workshop complete with all its tools.

Exhibitions on a variety of themes—such as Alsatian headdresses and costumes, hops, and beer—are on display year-round at the Maison du Kochersberg!
