Description Prices and schedules

This former rampart tower formed part of the defensive line in 1360. It is one of the main remaining features of the town’s second enclosure.

Restored in 1572, it has few original openings apart from a loophole on the first level.
Following the First World War, the tower was severely damaged and, during its restoration, the main buildings surrounding it were cleared away.

It owes its name to the stork’s nest perched atop the roof.
The tower is currently privately owned.
