The so called architect's house

This 16th-century residence is thought to have been built and lived in by one of the architects of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Thiébaut.
On the upper three floors, the facade is embellished with an oriel window engraved with a "tâcheron" mark (a geometric mark applied by a worker paid by the job to distinguish his work) and a symbol that remains a mystery.
The entrance to the house is on the left, through a door surmounted by a sculpted lintel (the upper part of the opening that supports the masonry).
