Schweighouse - Thann

The inhabitants of this village have shown much courage all through history : how many times has the village been plundered, destroyed and rebuilt… After World War 1st, only about ten houses could be rebuilt…
The Saint-Nicolas church has been rebuilt in 1924 in pink sandstone, in the Neo-Romanesque style. The high altar and the beautiful wall frescos, typical of the twenties, are particulary remarkable.
