Aspach-le-Bas

Aspach-le-Bas lies under the sign of the exchanges : already placed on a Roman way, its post house became an important staging post on the strategic road from Belfort to Neuf-Brisach. Owned by the Zimmermann dynasty for 5 generations, the post house was destroyed during World War 1.
Do not miss the calvary, shaded by the large trees, which lies between the village and Pont d’Aspach.
