Leimbach

The old church of Saint-Blaise, which was built in the 12th century, is located at the edge of the village, towards Rammersmatt. It still has many interesting Romanesque features, particulary the portal.
The church of Saint-Blaise was destroyed three times :
in 1358 during the first peasant uprising
in 1525 during the peasant war
and on 15th December 1917, when it was bombed by German artillery.
The relic of Saint Blaise is celebrated every year.
