An event presented by the Comédie de Colmar.
Suitable for all ages from 14 years old.
In her debut as a playwright, the novelist Leïla Slimani draws on Tolstoy’s work to explore the impossibility of forgiveness. In this courtroom drama, which explores the consequences of violence in social relationships, she revisits the themes that haunt her: remorse and guilt. Director Simon Delétang sets the play in a courtroom, bringing to life the past and present of a powerful and incorruptible woman, magnificently portrayed by Marina Hands. Surrounding her, the Comédie-Française company, led by Guillaume Gallienne, delivers a brilliant performance.
Featuring the Comédie-Française company: Guillaume Gallienne, Christian Gonon, Loïc Corbery, Marina Hands, Mélissa Polonie, Fabrice Lebert, Georgia Scalliet, Thibault Vinçon.
