In this production, the Weepers Circus takes us to a city in the grip of chaos. Everyone is rushing about, pressed for time and weighed down by their obligations. So much so that communication breaks down amongst these citizens at the end of the world. Everyone seems to be in their own bubble. Dehumanised. A dreary city of workers with one peculiarity: for months, the children have been missing. No one knows where. All that remains is an apple tree battling against the concrete and tarmac. And then weeds begin to appear here and there. Seeds are planted out of sight. The city begins to turn green. Colour returns…
