Part 2: Jazz Jam with the Euterpe Jazz Quartet

The Euterpe Jazz Quartet will open this session with a mini-concert featuring jazz standards interspersed with improvisations. The jazz quartet will then launch a ‘jam session’ during which professional and amateur musicians who love jazz can take to the stage and draw on the jazz repertoire to perform pieces and improvise. The quartet’s musicians will be on hand to provide balance and accompany the volunteer musicians in their improvisations.
