Performance – The Snow Is White

A teenage girl ventures alone deeper and deeper into the mountains, climbing ever higher. Along the way, she reflects on her life as a young elite athlete: the difficulties of fitting in and feeling different as a teenager of colour in the world of sport, but also her longing for the snow, the mountains, speed, the physical exertion, the joy, the adrenaline and the Mountain – the Mountain and the desire to become one with it. During this escape, she will discover where she comes from, her untold origins, and how this urge to flee had been deep within her for a long time already.
