AJAM - Arthur Hinnewinkel

To bring its concert season to a close, the AJAM welcomes Arthur Hinnewinkel, an outstanding pianist with an inspiring personality. In his recitals, he will share with us two of his current favourites, including Mussorgsky’s magnificent *Pictures at an Exhibition*.


We love this pianist, who is as inventive as he is virtuosic! After two years spent exploring the works of Schumann, one of his favourite composers, Arthur Hinnewinkel continues his exploration of the Romantic repertoire with Brahms; and a discovery is in store – that of a lesser-known work. He will contrast this tradition-oriented composer with Mussorgsky, one of his contemporaries, whose utterly innovative style produced one of the greatest masterpieces of the piano repertoire.


A finalist in the Clara Haskil International Competition in 2023 and winner of 4th prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium in 2025, Arthur Hinnewinkel has dedicated a highly acclaimed album to Robert Schumann’s concertante works.
