From the anticipation of the Saviour’s coming to the angels’ outburst of joy, the season of Advent is tinged with a myriad of colours. The star twinkles, the wind blows, and soon the Virgin Mary will hum gentle lullabies to the baby Jesus: all the senses are engaged on the journey to the nativity scene.
