Potash Circuit

The theme of this walk is potash, and it takes you around one of the rare mining sites to have preserved its headframe, the Théodore mine. The route leads through fields, woods and Wittenheim towns, with a stop at the memorial to the 827 victims of mining accidents, as well as the "Romanian monument" and the remains of the former Schoenensteinbach convent.
