La licorne du Fayé

Through these rounded shapes and colours, Livia de Poli expresses happiness and fulfilment, the desire to live in harmony with nature and colour. The Licorne du Fayé, a colourful and joyful figure, comes to ward off back luck that springs from the "racontote" tales of former times, stories that were told during evening gatherings and revealed the concerns, fears and hopes of the people of the region living in the shadow of the Vosges mountains. The front is composed of colourful and joyful curves. The back is composed of four animals corresponding to the universe's four elements.
