“Revenge is a dish best served cold,” as the saying goes. Solange is even preparing to savor it ice-cold. Now a renowned publisher living a comfortable life, 25 years after their separation, she sees Jean-Pierre, her ex-husband—now practically homeless—show up at her office begging her to find him a job.


The perfect opportunity to make him pay for his past betrayal: Solange agrees to help him on the condition that he take the name “Auguste” and remain incognito. Treated like the lowliest of lackeys, Auguste nevertheless manages to figure out the inner workings of the publishing house and throw his own wrench into the works…
