Day 3 of 5 : Hike on the ridges to the Petit Ballon

Starting from Markstein, before crossing the ski slopes of the resort, you can stop at the Chapelle Notre Dame des Neiges, for a visit of this heritage site. Heading for the Petit Ballon, this itinerary crosses a number of passes and summits including Klintzkopf, Hilsenfirst and the Oberlauchen pass from where you can get a look at the numerous special features of the region… Keep your eyes peeled!
