Day 1 of 3 : Climb to the Grand Ballon

Starting from Guebwiller, the first day of the circuit will take you to the Grand Ballon, the highest summit of the Vosges mountains at 1,424 metres. The climb to this pass is thus rather challenging and you must be in good physical condition. With this itinerary you can enjoy the different landscapes, the flora and fauna of the Vosges, and on your arrival, the exceptional panoramic view of the entire Alsace plain, the Black Forest and even the Alps.
