Church Sainte-Odile in Wintzfelden

The early church was first consecrated to Saint George. It was consecrated to Saint Odile in 1862. It was mentioned as a part of the parish from Soultzmatt. The bell tower was built in the 2nd part of the 12th century. The early choir (current lateral chapel) was reworked in the 14th century. As the old church was in very bad condition, a new nave and a new choir were built in 1859. Stones from the Schwartzenthann convent were used for this site.
