Au bonheur des Ours : Wood workshop

In the heart of the village of Hohrod, in her workshop on the main street, Doris gives a second life to trees by creating objects using the technique of turning and scroll-working on wood, sourced from a local sawmill, orchards or the nearby forest.



Come and see how a piece of wood is transformed into a unique and natural object. Doris mainly turns in the mornings, while the afternoons are reserved for fretwork and wood preparation.
Free woodturning demonstration mornings Monday to Friday at 9:30 am.



Doris's great specialty is being able to offer one-off pieces, and to help you create decorative and/or repair objects in wood (turned or scrollworked) within the limits of her machines' capacity.
