At the Col des Bagenelles, you have two options: drive to the Haycot farm for a short 6-km loop, or start from the pass for the full 11-km loop.
From the pass, take in the panoramic view of the Petite Lièpvre glacial valley. Cross the road and follow the red rectangle-marked trail. After a viewpoint overlooking the Faurupt valley, continue along the path ascending to the left. About 1.5 km further on, you’ll reach a large intersection; turn left toward the Haycot farm.
Walk past the farm and follow the yellow cross markings. At the end of the stubble field, turn right onto the red-and-white-striped path, passing in front of the Amis de la Nature refuge, housed in a former World War I bunker.
Continue through the tall stubble fields to the Brézouard refuge, then return via the same route toward Haycot. Next, follow the red rectangle, passing near a commemorative mosaic and the Ski Club chalet before descending to the Col des Bagenelles.
