Surpense

This easy walk is ideal for discovering the Petit Rombach landscape and the rural heritage of the Val d'Argent. Between open paths, mountain farms and beautiful panoramas of the Borne and Berbuche heights, the route offers a pleasant walk accessible to most people. It's also suitable for all-terrain baby carriages.
The route includes a glimpse of the Saint-Antoine chapel, considered to be one of the oldest religious buildings in the valley. Originally a simple oratory built by the land-clearing monks of Lièpvre Abbey, it was transformed into a chapel in the XVI¿ century before being destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. Subsequently rebuilt, it now belongs to private owners.
