Description

Starting in the town center, this hike takes you through the hamlet of Fertrupt, a former mining village founded in the 16th century.  Farms and mining ruins dot the route. Once you reach the Suscité ridge, take a short break to soak in the rolling landscape that unfolds before you.

Half of this walk takes place in an urban setting. It allows you to appreciate the architecture of historic homes dating primarily from the 19th century or the early 20th.

At No. 5 Rue des Cerisiers, a mansion from 1910. A little further on, at No. 7, stands the former neo-regional-style house built around 1900 by Gustave Oberthür, architect of the Municipal Theater.
