The Club Vosgien erected this tower on the summit of the Ungersberg in 1894, in memory of Edouard Héring, founder of the Club Vosgien de Barr. Square and less than 10 metres high, it offers a wide view of the Alsace plain and surrounding peaks. The platform is accessed by an iron staircase.
