The Micro-Folie - digital museum

The Micro-Folie is an innovative concept offering a digital museum accessible to all. Launched by La Villette in partnership with the French Ministry of Culture and 12 national institutions, it brings together over 3,200 high-definition digitized works from prestigious museums such as the Louvre, the Château de Versailles and the Centre Pompidou. The project aims to democratize access to culture through a modular, playful space, where visitors can explore masterpieces in complete freedom via interactive tablets, or organize group visits with a lecturer. The Micro-Folie de la vallée de Villé is a touring museum, featuring a digital museum and a toy library. The digital museum enables visitors to discover works of art (paintings, sculpture, music, theater, etc.) held in cultural establishments in France and abroad. Thanks to tablets connected to a screen on which the works scroll, it is possible to learn more about them and to contemplate them in very high definition in complete autonomy. The toy library offers fun activities that combine art and entertainment. Colouring in paintings, a Timeline game with works of art, educational kits with turnkey activities and much more!
