Guided tour of the basket-weaving workshop

Émilie, a passionate basket weaver, welcomes you to her workshop to introduce you to the world of basket weaving and her craftsmanship. During this guided tour, she’ll tell you the history of basket weaving—from its rise to its decline, and its revival today. You’ll learn about a basket weaver’s tools, the various raw materials, and the cultivation and processing of wicker.


Émilie will also introduce you to her craft and the different steps that bring her creations to life. To wrap up the tour, Émilie will invite you to try your hand at weaving a few strands of wicker into a piece she’s currently working on.
