Guided tour of the Jos Nusbaumer distillery

Founded in 1947, the Jos Nusbaumer artisanal distillery is located in Steige at the bottom of the Villé Valley, nestled in the stunning natural surroundings of the Alsatian Vosges. Our specialty is the distillation of fruit and wild berry brandies, as well as the production of fruit and herbal liqueurs; we also produce spirits such as gin and whiskey.

As a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship, we have been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, renewed in 2025.

With nearly 80 years of experience, we look forward to sharing our expertise with you by opening our doors. You will be accompanied by a distillery representative who will explain the entire production process for brandies, liqueurs, and creams during a guided tour lasting approximately one hour.
