The River Ill and its boats with the Ried Boatman

Explanations on the construction of traditional wooden boats, the trade and the skills of a boatwright. Demonstration of navigation (without passengers) and the casting of a traditional fishing net (the ‘épervier’). The boatman will also share the history of navigation and talk about the River Ill and its surroundings.
