Tour of Ebersheim

Set off to explore Ebersheim on a walking tour lasting around 1 hour 15 minutes, through the heart of an authentic village steeped in its rich agricultural heritage.

Amidst half-timbered houses, traditional buildings and old tobacco drying sheds, the walk reveals the local history and the craftsmanship of days gone by. Ebersheim was notably one of the largest tobacco-producing villages in France, a legacy still visible in its typical architecture.

As you wander the streets, you’ll also discover numerous ‘Kniestock’ houses and protective niches, bearing witness to the beliefs and daily life of Alsace.

Access: If you’re coming by car, park in the small car park south of the church (Chemin du Rischmattweg).
