Film screening and discussion: The Beavers of the Ill

A special evening for lovers of ‘wet’ nature.

Charles Metz and Olivier Guthfreund are world-class wildlife photographers and filmmakers. Their passion is matched only by their talent and patience.
They have spent the early mornings and evenings on the banks of the Ill between Colmar and Erstein.
They have ‘tamed’ the beavers – or perhaps it is the other way round… The result is stunning: breathtaking images of the only mammal capable of shaping its own territory (apart from Homo sapiens, of course).
Both filmmakers will be in attendance: their stories are just as worth the trip as their videos.
