This massive stone building is imposing. The arcades open outwards through arched openings in Gothic style. A revolving sandstone staircase installed in a tower dating from 1575 leads to the 1st floor.
This was reserved from the beginning of the century for the town council, while the arcaded ground floor was used for the weekly market.
From 1807 to 1869, a school was set up in the town hall. In 1889, the large hall on the ground floor where the market was held was converted into a fire station. Since 1989, the town hall has been in its present situation, the large hall on the ground floor having become the town council room, completed by a public reception area accessible on the ground floor.
Visible from the outside. The interior is open during the town hall’s opening hours.
