Santa Claus' arrival and Christmas market

In this charming little village in the Ried, Father Christmas has swapped his sleigh and reindeer for a flat-bottomed boat, the ideal craft for navigating the many waterways that surround the village. Accompanied by angels, elves and Christkindel, the Batelier du Ried is responsible for bringing the boat safely back to port.

A Christmas market will be held in the centre of the village, giving you the chance to stroll around, sample bredele and other sweets, meet Father Christmas and stock up on decorations and gifts to put under the tree.
