Created in 1931 by Émile Walter (1873 - 1953), a pharmacist / botanist of Saverne, the Botanical Garden is located on a bend of the D1004 road (3 km from Saverne), in the direction of the Col de Saverne, at an altitude of 335 meters. It covers 3 hectares.
