Guided Tour - Chappe Tower

Near the Château du Haut-Barr, the Tower of the old Chappe Telegraph, the first aerial telegraphy system, linked Paris to Strasbourg from 1798 to 1852.
The museum offers an interactive discovery of the ancestor of our means of telecommunications. There were no less than 50 towers linking Strasbourg to Paris.
