Church of Printzheim

The church abounds in artistic and archaeological remnants.
The inside of the bell tower of the church is covered with paintspaintings in lime from medieval times.
Vaults are endowed with paintings representing Christ in majesty and the symbols of four evangelists.

In the church you can also discover the bases of an altar, the fragments of a tabernacle placed in a niche and hundred of glass pieces - which, once reconstituted, turn out to be an oil lamp that dates back to the 19th century.

Last but not least, the reconstruction of 160 fragments allowed the restoration of the tabernacle under which you can now see the blazon of Lichtenberg.
